| | 20:1 | 那時希西家病得要死。亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞去見他、對他說、耶和華如此說、你當留遺命與你的家、因為你必死、不能活了。 | In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. |
| | 20:2 | 希西家就轉臉朝牆、禱告耶和華、說、 | Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, |
| | 20:3 | 耶和華阿、求你記念我在你面前怎樣存完全的心、按誠實行事、又作你眼中所看為善的。希西家就痛哭了。 | I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. |
| | 20:4 | 以賽亞出來、還沒有到中院〔院或作城〕耶和華的話就臨到他、說、 | And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying, |
| | 20:5 | 你回去告訴我民的君希西家、說、耶和華你祖大衛的 神、如此說、我聽見了你的禱告、看見了你的眼淚．我必醫治你、到第三日、你必上到耶和華的殿。 | Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD. |
| | 20:6 | 我必加增你十五年的壽數．並且我要救你和這城脫離亞述王的手．我為自己和我僕人大衛的緣故、必保護這城。 | And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake. |
| | 20:7 | 以賽亞說、當取一塊無花果餅來．人就取了來、貼在瘡上、王便痊愈了。 | And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered. |
| | 20:8 | 希西家問以賽亞說、耶和華必醫治我、到第三日、我能上耶和華的殿、有甚麼兆頭呢。 | And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day? |
| | 20:9 | 以賽亞說、耶和華必成就他所說的、這是他給你的兆頭．你要日影向前進十度呢、是要往後退十度呢。 | And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees? |
| | 20:10 | 希西家回答說、日影向前進十度容易．我要日影往後退十度。 | And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees. |
| | 20:11 | 先知以賽亞求告耶和華、耶和華就使亞哈斯的日晷向前進的日影、往後退了十度。 | And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz. |
| | 20:12 | 那時巴比倫王巴拉但的兒子比羅達巴拉但聽見希西家病而痊愈、就送書信和禮物給他。 | At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick. |
| | 20:13 | 希西家聽從使者的話、就把他寶庫的金子、銀子、香料、貴重的膏油、和他武庫的一切軍器、並他所有的財寶、都給他們看．他家中和他全國之內、希西家沒有一樣不給他們看的。 | And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. |
| | 20:14 | 於是先知以賽亞來見希西家王、問他說、這些人說甚麼．他們從那裏來見你。希西家說、他們從遠方的巴比倫來。 | Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon. |
| | 20:15 | 以賽亞說、他們在你家裏看見了甚麼。希西家說、凡我家中所有的、他們都看見了．我財寶中沒有一樣不給他們看的。 | And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them. |
| | 20:16 | 以賽亞對希西家說、你要聽耶和華的話。 | And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD. |
| | 20:17 | 日子必到、凡你家裏所有的、並你列祖積蓄到如今的、都要被擄到巴比倫去、不留下一樣．這是耶和華說的。 | Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD. |
| | 20:18 | 並且從你本身所生的眾子、其中必有被擄去、在巴比倫王宮裏當太監的。 | And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. |
| | 20:19 | 希西家對以賽亞說、你所說耶和華的話甚好．若在我的年日中、有太平和穩固的景況、豈不是好麼。 | Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days? |
| | 20:20 | 希西家其餘的事、和他的勇力、他怎樣挖池、挖溝、引水入城、都寫在猶大列王記上。 | And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? |
| | 20:21 | 希西家與他列祖同睡．他兒子瑪拿西接續他作王。 | And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead. |
