| | 27:1 | 約伯接着說、 | Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, |
| | 27:2 | 神奪去我的理、全能者使我心中愁苦．我指着永生的 神起誓、 | As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; |
| | 27:3 | 我的生命尚在我裏面、 神所賜呼吸之氣仍在我的鼻孔內。 | All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; |
| | 27:4 | 我的嘴決不說非義之言、我的舌也不說詭詐之語。 | My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. |
| | 27:5 | 我斷不以你們為是．我至死必不以自己為不正。 | God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. |
| | 27:6 | 我持定我的義、必不放鬆．在世的日子我心必不責備我。 | My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. |
| | 27:7 | 願我的仇敵如惡人一樣、願那起來攻擊我的、如不義之人一般。 | Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous. |
| | 27:8 | 不敬虔的人、雖然得利、 神奪取其命的時候、還有甚麼指望呢。 | For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? |
| | 27:9 | 患難臨到他、 神豈能聽他的呼求。 | Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him? |
| | 27:10 | 他豈以全能者為樂、隨時求告 神呢。 | Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God? |
| | 27:11 | 神的作為、我要指教你們、全能者所行的、我也不隱瞞。 | I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal. |
| | 27:12 | 你們自己也都見過．為何全然變為虛妄呢。 | Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain? |
| | 27:13 | 神為惡人所定的分、強暴人從全能者所得的報、〔報原文作產業〕乃是這樣． | This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. |
| | 27:14 | 倘或他的兒女增多、還是被刀所殺．他的子孫必不得飽食。 | If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. |
| | 27:15 | 他所遺留的人、必死而埋葬．他的寡婦也不哀哭。 | Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. |
| | 27:16 | 他雖積蓄銀子如塵沙、預備衣服如泥土． | Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; |
| | 27:17 | 他只管預備、義人卻要穿上．他的銀子、無辜的人要分取。 | He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. |
| | 27:18 | 他建造房屋如蟲作窩、又如守望者所搭的棚。 | He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh. |
| | 27:19 | 他雖富足躺臥、卻不得收殮．轉眼之間就不在了。 | The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not. |
| | 27:20 | 驚恐如波濤、將他追上．暴風在夜間、將他颳去。 | Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. |
| | 27:21 | 東風把他飄去、又颳他離開本處。 | The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place. |
| | 27:22 | 神要向他射箭、並不留情．他恨不得逃脫 神的手。 | For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. |
| | 27:23 | 人要向他拍掌、並要發叱聲、使他離開本處。 | Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place. |
