| | 12:1 | 耶和華在埃及地曉諭摩西亞倫說、 | And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, |
| | 12:2 | 你們要以本月為正月、為一年之首。 | This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. |
| | 12:3 | 你們吩咐以色列全會眾說、本月初十日、各人要按着父家取羊羔、一家一隻。 | Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: |
| | 12:4 | 若是一家的人太少、喫不了一隻羊羔、本人就要和他隔壁的鄰舍共取一隻、你們預備羊羔、要按着人數和飯量計算。 | And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. |
| | 12:5 | 要無殘疾一歲的公羊羔、你們或從綿羊裏取、或從山羊裏取、都可以． | Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: |
| | 12:6 | 要留到本月十四日、在黃昏的時候、以色列全會眾把羊羔宰了。 | And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. |
| | 12:7 | 各家要取點血、塗在喫羊羔的房屋左右的門框上、和門楣上。 | And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. |
| | 12:8 | 當夜要喫羊羔的肉、用火烤了、與無酵餅和苦菜同喫。 | And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. |
| | 12:9 | 不可喫生的、斷不可喫水煮的、要帶着頭、腿、五臟、用火烤了喫。 | Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. |
| | 12:10 | 不可剩下一點留到早晨、若留到早晨、要用火燒了。 | And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. |
| | 12:11 | 你們喫羊羔當腰間束帶、腳上穿鞋、手中拿杖、趕緊地喫、這是耶和華的逾越節。 | And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover. |
| | 12:12 | 因為那夜我要巡行埃及地、把埃及地一切頭生的、無論是人是牲畜、都擊殺了．又要敗壞埃及一切的神、我是耶和華。 | For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. |
| | 12:13 | 這血要在你們所住的房屋上作記號、我一見這血、就越過你們去、我擊殺埃及地頭生的時候、災殃必不臨到你們身上滅你們。 | And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. |
| | 12:14 | 你們要記念這日、守為耶和華的節、作為你們世世代代永遠的定例。 | And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever. |
| | 12:15 | 你們要喫無酵餅七日．頭一日要把酵從你們各家中除去、因為從頭一日起、到第七日為止、凡喫有酵之餅的、必從以色列中剪除。 | Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. |
| | 12:16 | 頭一日你們當有聖會、第七日也當有聖會、這兩日之內、除了預備各人所要喫的以外、無論何工、都不可作。 | And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. |
| | 12:17 | 你們要守無酵節、因為我正當這日把你們的軍隊從埃及地領出來、所以你們要守這日、作為世世代代永遠的定例。 | And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever. |
| | 12:18 | 從正月十四日晚上、直到二十一日晚上、你們要喫無酵餅。 | In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. |
| | 12:19 | 在你們各家中、七日之內不可有酵、因為凡喫有酵之物的、無論是寄居的、是本地的、必從以色列的會中剪除。 | Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. |
| | 12:20 | 有酵的物、你們都不可喫、在你們一切住處要喫無酵餅。 | Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread. |
| | 12:21 | 於是摩西召了以色列的眾長老來、對他們說、你們要按着家口取出羊羔、把這逾越節的羊羔宰了。 | Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. |
| | 12:22 | 拿一把牛膝草、蘸盆裏的血、打在門楣上、和左右的門框上．你們誰也不可出自己的房門直到早晨。 | And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. |
| | 12:23 | 因為耶和華要巡行擊殺埃及人、他看見血在門楣上、和左右的門框上、就必越過那門、不容滅命的進你們的房屋、擊殺你們。 | For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. |
| | 12:24 | 這例你們要守着、作為你們和你們子孫永遠的定例。 | And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. |
| | 12:25 | 日後你們到了耶和華按着所應許賜給你們的那地、就要守這禮。 | And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. |
| | 12:26 | 你們的兒女問你們說、行這禮是甚麼意思。 | And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? |
| | 12:27 | 你們就說、這是獻給耶和華逾越節的祭．當以色列人在埃及的時候、他擊殺埃及人、越過以色列人的房屋、救了我們各家。於是百姓低頭下拜。 | That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. |
| | 12:28 | 耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西亞倫、以色列人就怎樣行。 | And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. |
| | 12:29 | 到了半夜、耶和華把埃及地所有的長子、就是從坐寶座的法老、直到被擄囚在監裏之人的長子、以及一切頭生的牲畜、盡都殺了。 | And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. |
| | 12:30 | 法老和一切臣僕、並埃及眾人、夜間都起來了．在埃及有大哀號、無一家不死一個人的。 | And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. |
| | 12:31 | 夜間法老召了摩西亞倫來、說、起來。連你們帶以色列人、從我民中出去、依你們所說的、去事奉耶和華罷． | And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. |
| | 12:32 | 也依你們所說的、連羊群牛群帶着走罷、並要為我祝福。 | Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also. |
| | 12:33 | 埃及人催促百姓、打發他們快快出離那地、因為埃及人說、我們都要死了。 | And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men. |
| | 12:34 | 百姓就拿着沒有酵的生麵、把摶麵盆包在衣服中、扛在肩頭上。 | And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders. |
| | 12:35 | 以色列人照着摩西的話行、向埃及人要金器銀器、和衣裳。 | And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: |
| | 12:36 | 耶和華叫百姓在埃及人眼前蒙恩、以致埃及人給他們所要的、他們就把埃及人的財物奪去了。 | And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians. |
| | 12:37 | 以色列人從蘭塞起行、往疏割去．除了婦人孩子、步行的男人約有六十萬。 | And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. |
| | 12:38 | 又有許多閒雜人、並有羊群牛群和他們一同上去。 | And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. |
| | 12:39 | 他們用埃及帶出來的生麵、烤成無酵餅、這生麵原沒有發起、因為他們被催逼離開埃及、不能耽延、也沒有為自己預備甚麼食物。 | And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual. |
| | 12:40 | 以色列人住在埃及共有四百三十年。 | Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. |
| | 12:41 | 正滿了四百三十年的那一天、耶和華的軍隊都從埃及地出來了。 | And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. |
| | 12:42 | 這夜是耶和華的夜、因耶和華領他們出了埃及地、所以當向耶和華謹守、是以色列眾人世世代代該謹守的。 | It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. |
| | 12:43 | 耶和華對摩西亞倫說、逾越節的例是這樣、外邦人都不可喫這羊羔。 | And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: |
| | 12:44 | 但各人用銀子買的奴僕、既受了割禮、就可以喫。 | But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof. |
| | 12:45 | 寄居的、和雇工人、都不可喫。 | A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. |
| | 12:46 | 應當在一個房子裏喫、不可把一點肉從房子裏帶到外頭去．羊羔的骨頭、一根也不可折斷。 | In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. |
| | 12:47 | 以色列全會眾都要守這禮。 | All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. |
| | 12:48 | 若有外人寄居在你們中間、願向耶和華守逾越節、他所有的男子務要受割禮、然後纔容他前來遵守、他也就像本地人一樣．但未受割禮的、都不可喫這羊羔。 | And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. |
| | 12:49 | 本地人和寄居在你們中間的外人、同歸一例。 | One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you. |
| | 12:50 | 耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西亞倫、以色列眾人就怎樣行了。 | Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. |
| | 12:51 | 正當那日、耶和華將以色列人按着他們的軍隊、從埃及地領出來。 | And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies. |
