| | 14:1 | 有幾個以色列長老到我這裏來、坐在我面前。 | Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me. |
| | 14:2 | 耶和華的話就臨到我說、 | And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, |
| | 14:3 | 人子阿、這些人已將他們的假神接到心裏、把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前、我豈能絲毫被他們求問麼。 | Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them? |
| | 14:4 | 所以你要告訴他們、主耶和華如此說、以色列家的人中、凡將他的假神接到心裏、把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前、又就了先知來的、我耶和華在他所求的事上、必按他眾多的假神回答他、〔或作必按他拜許多假神的罪報應他〕 | Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; |
| | 14:5 | 好在以色列家的心事上捉住他們、因為他們都藉着假神與我生疏。 | That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols. |
| | 14:6 | 所以你要告訴以色列家說、主耶和華如此說、回頭罷、離開你們的偶像、轉臉莫從你們一切可憎的事． | Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. |
| | 14:7 | 因為以色列家的人、或在以色列中寄居的外人、凡與我隔絕、將他的假神接到心裏、把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前、又就了先知來要為自己的事求問我的、我耶和華必親自回答他． | For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself: |
| | 14:8 | 我必向那人變臉、使他作了警戒、笑談、令人驚駭、並且我要將他從我民中剪除．你們就知道我是耶和華。 | And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. |
| | 14:9 | 先知若被迷惑說一句預言、是我耶和華任那先知受迷惑、我也必向他伸手、將他從我民以色列中除滅。 | And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. |
| | 14:10 | 他們必擔當自己的罪孽、先知的罪孽、和求問之人的罪孽、都是一樣． | And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him; |
| | 14:11 | 好使以色列家不再走迷離開我、不再因各樣的罪過玷污自己、只要作我的子民、我作他們的 神．這是主耶和華說的。 | That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD. |
| | 14:12 | 耶和華的話臨到我說、 | The word of the LORD came again to me, saying, |
| | 14:13 | 人子阿、若有一國犯罪干犯我、我也向他伸手折斷他們的杖、就是斷絕他們的糧、使飢荒臨到那地、將人與牲畜從其中剪除。 | Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: |
| | 14:14 | 其中雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯這三人、他們只能因他們的義救自己的性命．這是主耶和華說的。 | Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD. |
| | 14:15 | 我若使惡獸經過糟踐那地、使地荒涼、以致因這些獸、人都不得經過． | If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: |
| | 14:16 | 雖有這三人在其中、主耶和華說、我指着我的永生起誓、他們連兒帶女都不能得救、只能自己得救、那地仍然荒涼。 | Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. |
| | 14:17 | 或者我使刀劍臨到那地、說、刀劍哪、要經過那地、以致我將人與牲畜從其中剪除． | Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: |
| | 14:18 | 雖有這三人在其中、主耶和華說、我指着我的永生起誓、他們連兒帶女都不能得救、只能自己得救。 | Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. |
| | 14:19 | 或者我叫瘟疫流行那地、使我滅命〔原文作帶血〕的忿怒傾在其上、好將人與牲畜從其中剪除． | Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast: |
| | 14:20 | 雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯在其中、主耶和華說、我指着我的永生起誓、他們連兒帶女都不能救、只能因他們的義救自己的性命。 | Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. |
| | 14:21 | 主耶和華如此說、我將這四樣大災、就是刀劍、飢荒、惡獸、瘟疫、降在耶路撒冷、將人與牲畜從其中剪除、豈不更重麼。 | For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? |
| | 14:22 | 然而其中必有剩下的人、他們連兒帶女必帶到你們這裏來、你們看見他們所行所為的、要因我降給耶路撒冷的一切災禍、便得了安慰。 | Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it. |
| | 14:23 | 你們看見他們所行所為的、得了安慰、就知道我在耶路撒冷中所行的、並非無故．這是主耶和華說的。 | And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD. |
