| | 19:2 | 約拿單告訴大衛說、我父掃羅想要殺你．所以明日早晨你要小心、到一個僻靜地方藏身． | But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself: |
| | 19:3 | 我就出到你所藏的田裏、站在我父親旁邊、與他談論．我看他情形怎樣、我必告訴你。 | And I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where thou art, and I will commune with my father of thee; and what I see, that I will tell thee. |
| | 19:4 | 約拿單向他父親掃羅替大衛說好話、說、王不可得罪王的僕人大衛．因為他未曾得罪你、他所行的、都與你大有益處。 | And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee-ward very good: |
| | 19:5 | 他拚命殺那非利士人、耶和華為以色列眾人大行拯救．那時你看見、甚是歡喜．現在為何無故要殺大衛、流無辜人的血、自己取罪呢。 | For he did put his life in his hand, and slew the Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause? |
| | 19:6 | 掃羅聽了約拿單的話、就指着永生的耶和華起誓、說、我必不殺他。 | And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul sware, As the LORD liveth, he shall not be slain. |
| | 19:7 | 約拿單叫大衛來、把這一切事告訴他．帶他去見掃羅、他就仍然侍立在掃羅面前。 | And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan shewed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past. |
| | 19:8 | 此後又有爭戰的事．大衛出去、與非利士人打仗、大大殺敗他們．他們就在他面前逃跑。 | And there was war again: and David went out, and fought with the Philistines, and slew them with a great slaughter; and they fled from him. |
| | 19:9 | 從耶和華那裏來的惡魔、又降在掃羅身上．（掃羅手裏拿槍坐在屋裏）大衛就用手彈琴。 | And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand. |
| | 19:10 | 掃羅用槍想要刺透大衛、釘在牆上．他卻躲開、掃羅的槍刺入牆內．當夜大衛逃走躲避了。 | And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin, but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night. |
| | 19:11 | 掃羅打發人到大衛的房屋那裏、窺探他、要等到天亮殺他。大衛的妻米甲對他說、你今夜若不逃命、明日你要被殺。 | Saul also sent messengers unto David's house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David's wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life to night, to morrow thou shalt be slain. |
| | 19:12 | 於是米甲將大衛從窗戶裏縋下去．大衛就逃走、躲避了。 | So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped. |
| | 19:13 | 米甲把家中的神像、放在床上、頭枕在山羊毛裝的枕頭上、用被遮蓋。 | And Michal took an image, and laid it in the bed, and put a pillow of goats' hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth. |
| | 19:14 | 掃羅打發人去捉拿大衛、米甲說、他病了。 | And when Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, He is sick. |
| | 19:15 | 掃羅又打發人去看大衛、說、當連床將他抬來、我好殺他。 | And Saul sent the messengers again to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, that I may slay him. |
| | 19:16 | 使者進去、看見床上有神像、頭枕在山羊毛裝的枕頭上。 | And when the messengers were come in, behold, there was an image in the bed, with a pillow of goats' hair for his bolster. |
| | 19:17 | 掃羅對米甲說、你為甚麼這樣欺哄我、放我仇敵逃走呢。米甲回答說、他對我說、你放我走、不然、我要殺你。 | And Saul said unto Michal, Why hast thou deceived me so, and sent away mine enemy, that he is escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He said unto me, Let me go; why should I kill thee? |
| | 19:18 | 大衛逃避、來到拉瑪、見撒母耳、將掃羅向他所行的事、述說了一遍。他和撒母耳就往拿約去居住。 | So David fled, and escaped, and came to Samuel to Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and dwelt in Naioth. |
| | 19:19 | 有人告訴掃羅說、大衛在拉瑪的拿約。 | And it was told Saul, saying, Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah. |
| | 19:20 | 掃羅打發人去捉拿大衛．去的人見有一班先知都受感說話、撒母耳站在其中監管他們、打發去的人、也受 神的靈感動說話。 | And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied. |
| | 19:21 | 有人將這事告訴掃羅、他又打發人去、他們也受感說話。掃羅第三次打發人去、他們也受感說話。 | And when it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they prophesied likewise. And Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they prophesied also. |
| | 19:22 | 然後掃羅自己往拉瑪去、到了西沽的大井、問人說、撒母耳和大衛在哪裏呢．有人說、在拉瑪的拿約。 | Then went he also to Ramah, and came to a great well that is in Sechu: and he asked and said, Where are Samuel and David? And one said, Behold, they be at Naioth in Ramah. |
| | 19:23 | 他就往拉瑪的拿約去． 神的靈也感動他、一面走、一面說話、直到拉瑪的拿約。 | And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah. |
| | 19:24 | 他就脫了衣服、在撒母耳面前受感說話、一晝一夜、露體躺臥。因此有句俗語說、掃羅也列在先知中麼。 | And he stripped off his clothes also, and prophesied before Samuel in like manner, and lay down naked all that day and all that night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets? |
