期望
主耶穌，諸般恩典的本源，
在榮美的神聖光間，
我們就要與你面對面，
在那榮耀普照無限；
永遠與你同在，聽你聲音，
全然沒有隔阻，
盡嘗你的愛喜樂滿足，
雖然仍在這荒涼廢墟。
在平安驚奇中我們敬拜
想念你神聖的愛，
永遠在那境界
我們與你交織不分開。
約翰．達秘（John Nelson Darby, 1800-1882）英國神學作家，近代弟兄會重要創始人之一。父為海軍將領。早年至愛爾蘭，初習法律，轉為聖公會教牧；約於1830年，倡“時代主義”（Dispensationalism）之說，以為聖品階級不合於聖經，而信者皆為弟兄，故稱“弟兄會”。
Expectation
Lord Jesus, source of every grace,
Glorious in light divine,
Soon shall we see Thee face to face,
And in that glory shine;
Be ever with Thee, hear Thy voice,
Unhindered then shall taste
The love which doth our hearts rejoice,
Though absent in this waste.
In peaceful wonder we adore
The thoughts of Love divine,
Which in that world for evermore
Our lot with Thine entwine!
