| | 10:1 | 示巴女王聽見所羅門因耶和華之名所得的名聲、就來要用難解的話、試問所羅門。 | And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions. |
| | 10:2 | 跟隨他到耶路撒冷的人甚多．又有駱駝馱着香料、寶石、和許多金子．他來見了所羅門王、就把心裏所有的、對所羅門都說出來。 | And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart. |
| | 10:3 | 所羅門王將他所問的都答上了．沒有一句不明白、不能答的。 | And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not. |
| | 10:4 | 示巴女王見所羅門大有智慧、和他所建造的宮室、 | And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built, |
| | 10:5 | 席上的珍饈美味、群臣分列而坐、僕人兩旁侍立、以及他們的衣服裝飾、和酒政的衣服裝飾、又見他上耶和華殿的臺階、〔或作他在耶和華殿裏所獻的燔祭〕就詫異得神不守舍． | And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her. |
| | 10:6 | 對王說、我在本國裏所聽見論到你的事、和你的智慧、實在是真的。 | And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom. |
| | 10:7 | 我先不信那些話．及至我來親眼見了、纔知道人所告訴我的、還不到一半．你的智慧和你的福分、越過我所聽見的風聲。 | Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard. |
| | 10:8 | 你的臣子、你的僕人、常侍立在你面前、聽你智慧的話、是有福的。 | Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom. |
| | 10:9 | 耶和華你的 神是應當稱頌的、他喜悅你、使你坐以色列的國位．因為他永遠愛以色列、所以立你作王、使你秉公行義。 | Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice. |
| | 10:10 | 於是示巴女王將一百二十他連得金子、和寶石與極多的香料、送給所羅門王．他送給王的香料、以後奉來的不再有這樣多。 | And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon. |
| | 10:11 | 希蘭的船隻從俄斐運了金子來、又從俄斐運了許多檀香木〔或作烏木下同〕和寶石來。 | And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almug trees, and precious stones. |
| | 10:12 | 王用檀香木為耶和華殿、和王宮、作欄杆、又為歌唱的人作琴瑟．以後再沒有這樣的檀香木進國來、也沒有人看見過、直到如今。 | And the king made of the almug trees pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug trees, nor were seen unto this day. |
| | 10:13 | 示巴女王一切所要所求的、所羅門王都送給他．另外照自己的厚意餽送他。於是女王和他臣僕轉回本國去了。 | And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants. |
| | 10:14 | 所羅門每年所得的金子、共有六百六十六他連得。 | Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold, |
| | 10:15 | 另外還有商人、和雜族的諸王、與國中的省長、所進的金子。〔雜族在歷代下九章十四節作亞拉伯〕 | Beside that he had of the merchantmen, and of the traffick of the spice merchants, and of all the kings of Arabia, and of the governors of the country. |
| | 10:16 | 所羅門王用錘出來的金子、打成擋牌二百面、每面用金子六百舍客勒． | And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of gold went to one target. |
| | 10:17 | 又用錘出來的金子、打成盾牌三百面、每面用金子三彌那、都放在利巴嫩林宮裏。 | And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pound of gold went to one shield: and the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon. |
| | 10:18 | 王用象牙製造一個寶座、用精金包裹。 | Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold. |
| | 10:19 | 寶座有六層臺階．座的後背是圓的．兩旁有扶手．靠近扶手有兩個獅子站立。 | The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind: and there were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays. |
| | 10:20 | 六層臺階上有十二個獅子站立、每層有兩個、左邊一個、右邊一個．在列國中沒有這樣作的。 | And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom. |
| | 10:21 | 所羅門王一切的飲器、都是金子的．利巴嫩林宮裏的一切器皿、都是精金的．所羅門年間、銀子算不了甚麼。 | And all king Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; none were of silver: it was nothing accounted of in the days of Solomon. |
| | 10:22 | 因為王有他施船隻與希蘭的船隻一同航海、三年一次、裝載金銀、象牙、猿猴、孔雀回來。 | For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks. |
| | 10:23 | 所羅門王的財寶與智慧、勝過天下的列王。 | So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. |
| | 10:24 | 普天下的王都求見所羅門、要聽 神賜給他智慧的話． | And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. |
| | 10:25 | 他們各帶貢物、就是金器、銀器、衣服、軍械、香料、騾馬、每年有一定之例。 | And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year. |
| | 10:26 | 所羅門聚集戰車馬兵、有戰車一千四百輛、馬兵一萬二千名、安置在屯車的城邑、和耶路撒冷就是王那裏。 | And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he bestowed in the cities for chariots, and with the king at Jerusalem. |
| | 10:27 | 王在耶路撒冷使銀子多如石頭。香柏木多如高原的桑樹。 | And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycomore trees that are in the vale, for abundance. |
| | 10:28 | 所羅門的馬是從埃及帶來的、是王的商人、一群一群、按着定價、買來的。 | And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price. |
| | 10:29 | 從埃及買來的車、每輛價銀六百舍客勒、馬每匹一百五十舍客勒．赫人諸王、和亞蘭諸王、所買的車馬、也是按這價值經他們手買來的。 | And a chariot came up and went out of Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, did they bring them out by their means. |
