| | 7:1 | 親愛的弟兄阿、我們既有這等應許、就當潔淨自己、除去身體靈魂一切的污穢、敬畏 神、得以成聖。 | Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. |
| | 7:2 | 你們要心地寬大收納我們．我們未曾虧負誰、未曾敗壞誰、未曾佔誰的便宜。 | Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. |
| | 7:3 | 我說這話、不是要定你們的罪．我已經說過、你們常在我們心裏、情願與你們同生同死。 | I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. |
| | 7:4 | 我大大的放膽、向你們說話．我因你們多多誇口、滿得安慰．我們在一切患難中分外的快樂。 | Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. |
| | 7:5 | 我們從前就是到了馬其頓的時候、身體也不得安寧、周圍遭患難、外有爭戰、內有懼怕． | For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. |
| | 7:6 | 但那安慰喪氣之人的 神、藉着提多來安慰了我們． | Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; |
| | 7:7 | 不但藉着他來、也藉着他從你們所得的安慰、安慰了我們．因他把你們的想念、哀慟、和向我的熱心、都告訴了我、叫我更加歡喜。 | And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. |
| | 7:8 | 我先前寫信叫你們憂愁．我後來雖然懊悔、如今卻不懊悔．因我知道那信叫你們憂愁、不過是暫時的。 | For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. |
| | 7:9 | 如今我歡喜、不是因你們憂愁、是因你們從憂愁中生出懊悔來．你們依着 神的意思憂愁、凡事就不至於因我們受虧損了。 | Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. |
| | 7:10 | 因為依着 神的意思憂愁、就生出沒有後悔的懊悔來、以致得救．但世俗的憂愁、是叫人死。 | For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. |
| | 7:11 | 你看、你們依着 神的意思憂愁、從此就生出何等的殷勤、自訴、自恨、恐懼、想念、熱心、責罰．〔或作自責〕在這一切事上你們都表明自己是潔淨的。 | For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. |
| | 7:12 | 我雖然從前寫信給你們、卻不是為那虧負人的、也不是為那受人虧負的、乃要在 神面前、把你們顧念我們的熱心、表明出來。 | Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you. |
| | 7:13 | 故此我們得了安慰、並且在安慰之中、因你們眾人使提多心裏暢快歡喜、我們就更加歡喜了。 | Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. |
| | 7:14 | 我若對提多誇獎了你們甚麼、也覺得沒有慚愧．因我對提多誇獎你們的話、成了真的．正如我對你們所說的話、也都是真的。 | For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth. |
| | 7:15 | 並且提多想起你們眾人的順服、是怎樣恐懼戰兢的接待他、他愛你們的心腸就越發熱了。 | And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. |
| | 7:16 | 我如今歡喜、能在凡事上為你們放心。 | I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things. |
