| | 39:2 | 他們懷胎的月數、你能數算麼．他們幾時生產你能曉得麼． | Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth? |
| | 39:3 | 他們屈身、將子生下、就除掉疼痛。 | They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows. |
| | 39:4 | 這子漸漸肥壯、在荒野長大、去而不回。 | Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them. |
| | 39:5 | 誰放野驢出去自由．誰解開快驢的繩索。 | Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass? |
| | 39:6 | 我使曠野作他的住處、使鹹地當他的居所。 | Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings. |
| | 39:7 | 他嗤笑城內的喧嚷、不聽趕牲口的喝聲。 | He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver. |
| | 39:8 | 遍山是他的草場．他尋找各樣青綠之物。 | The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing. |
| | 39:9 | 野牛豈肯服事你．豈肯住在你的槽旁。 | Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? |
| | 39:10 | 你豈能用套繩將野牛籠在犁溝之間．他豈肯隨你耙山谷之地。 | Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? |
| | 39:11 | 豈可因他的力大、就倚靠他、豈可把你的工交給他作麼。 | Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? |
| | 39:12 | 豈可信靠他把你的糧食運到家、又收聚你禾場上的穀麼。 | Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn? |
| | 39:13 | 鴕鳥的翅膀歡然搧展、豈是顯慈愛的翎毛和羽毛麼。 | Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? |
| | 39:14 | 因他把蛋留在地上、在塵土中、使得溫暖． | Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, |
| | 39:15 | 卻想不到被腳踹碎、或被野獸踐踏。 | And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. |
| | 39:16 | 他忍心待雛、似乎不是自己的．雖然徒受勞苦、也不為雛懼怕． | She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; |
| | 39:17 | 因為 神使他沒有智慧、也未將悟性賜給他。 | Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. |
| | 39:18 | 他幾時挺身展開翅膀、就嗤笑馬和騎馬的人。 | What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. |
| | 39:19 | 馬的大力是你所賜的麼．他頸項上挓莎的 | Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder? |
| | 39:20 | 是你叫他跳躍像蝗蟲麼．他噴氣之威使人驚惶。 | Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. |
| | 39:21 | 他在谷中刨地、自喜其力．他出去迎接佩帶兵器的人。 | He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men. |
| | 39:22 | 他嗤笑可怕的事、並不驚惶、也不因刀劍退回。 | He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. |
| | 39:23 | 箭袋和發亮的槍、並短槍、在他身上錚錚有聲。 | The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield. |
| | 39:24 | 他發猛烈的怒氣將地吞下．一聽角聲就不耐站立。 | He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet. |
| | 39:25 | 角每發聲、他說、呵哈．他從遠處聞着戰氣、又聽見軍長大發雷聲、和兵丁吶喊。 | He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting. |
| | 39:26 | 鷹雀飛翔、展開翅膀、一直向南、豈是藉你的智慧麼。 | Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south? |
| | 39:27 | 大鷹上騰、在高處搭窩、豈是聽你的吩咐麼。 | Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? |
| | 39:28 | 他住在山巖、以山峰和堅固之所為家． | She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. |
| | 39:29 | 從那裏窺看食物、眼睛遠遠觀望。 | From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. |
| | 39:30 | 他的雛也咂血．被殺的人在那裏、他也在那裏。 | Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she. |
