| | 8:1 | 你用口吹角罢．敌人如鹰来攻打耶和华的家、因为这民违背我的约、干犯我的律法。 | Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. |
| | 8:2 | 他们必呼叫我说、我的 神阿、我们以色列认识你了。 | Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee. |
| | 8:3 | 以色列丢弃良善、〔或作福分〕仇敌必追逼他。 | Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him. |
| | 8:4 | 他们立君王、却不由我、他们立首领、我却不认．他们用金银为自己制造偶像、以致被剪除。 | They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off. |
| | 8:5 | 撒玛利亚阿、耶和华已经丢弃你的牛犊．我的怒气向拜牛犊的人发作．他们到几时方能无罪呢。 | Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency? |
| | 8:6 | 这牛犊出于以色列、是匠人所造的、并不是神．撒玛利亚的牛犊、必被打碎。 | For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces. |
| | 8:7 | 他们所种的是风、所收的是暴风、．所种的不成禾稼、就是发苗也不结实、即便结实、外邦人必吞吃。 | For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. |
| | 8:8 | 以色列被吞吃．现今在列国中、好像人不喜悦的器皿。 | Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure. |
| | 8:9 | 他们投奔亚述、如同独行的野驴．以法莲贿买朋党。 | For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers. |
| | 8:10 | 他们虽在列邦中贿买人、现在我却要聚集惩罚他们．他们因君王和首领所加的重担、日渐衰微。 | Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes. |
| | 8:11 | 以法莲增添祭坛取罪、因此、祭坛使他犯罪。 | Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin. |
| | 8:12 | 我为他写了律法万条、他却以为与他毫无关涉。 | I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. |
| | 8:13 | 至于献给我的祭物、他们自食其肉、耶和华却不悦纳他们．现在必记念他们的罪孽、追讨他们的罪恶、他们必归回埃及。 | They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt. |
| | 8:14 | 以色列忘记造他的主、建造宫殿．犹大多造坚固城、我却要降火焚烧他的城邑、烧灭其中的宫殿。 | For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof. |
