| | 24:1 | 巴蘭見耶和華喜歡賜福與以色列、就不像前兩次去求法術、卻面向曠野。 | And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness. |
| | 24:2 | 巴蘭舉目、看見以色列人照着支派居住、 神的靈就臨到他身上。 | And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him. |
| | 24:3 | 他便題起詩歌說、比珥的兒子巴蘭說、眼目閉住〔閉住或作睜開〕的人說、 | And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: |
| | 24:4 | 得聽 神的言語、得見全能者的異象、眼目睜開而仆倒的人說、 | He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: |
| | 24:5 | 雅各阿、你的帳棚何等華美。以色列阿、你的帳幕何其華麗． | How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! |
| | 24:6 | 如接連的山谷、如河旁的園子、如耶和華所栽的沉香樹、如水邊的香柏木。 | As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters. |
| | 24:7 | 水要從他的桶裏流出、種子要撒在多水之處．他的王必超過亞甲、他的國必要振興。 | He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted. |
| | 24:8 | 神領他出埃及、他似乎有野牛之力．他要吞喫敵國、折斷他們的骨頭、用箭射透他們。 | God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. |
| | 24:9 | 他蹲如公獅、臥如母獅、誰敢惹他．凡給你祝福的、願他蒙福．凡咒詛你的、願他受咒詛。 | He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. |
| | 24:10 | 巴勒向巴蘭生氣、就拍起手來、對巴蘭說、我召你來為我咒詛仇敵、不料、你這三次竟為他們祝福。 | And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times. |
| | 24:11 | 如今你快回本地去罷．我想使你得大尊榮、耶和華卻阻止你不得尊榮。 | Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour. |
| | 24:12 | 巴蘭對巴勒說、我豈不是對你所差遣到我那裏的使者說、 | And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying, |
| | 24:13 | 巴勒就是將他滿屋的金銀給我、我也不得越過耶和華的命、憑自己的心意行好、行歹、耶和華說甚麼。我就要說甚麼。 | If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak? |
| | 24:14 | 現在我要回本族去．你來、我告訴你這民日後要怎樣待你的民。 | And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days. |
| | 24:15 | 他就題起詩歌說、比珥的兒子巴蘭說、眼目閉住〔閉住或作睜開〕的人說、 | And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: |
| | 24:16 | 得聽 神的言語、明白至高者的意旨、看見全能者的異象、眼目睜開而仆倒的人說、 | He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: |
| | 24:17 | 我看他卻不在現時、我望他卻不在近日．有星要出於雅各、有杖要興於以色列、必打破摩押的四角、毀壞擾亂之子。 | I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. |
| | 24:18 | 他必得以東為基業、又得仇敵之地西珥為產業．以色列必行事勇敢。 | And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. |
| | 24:19 | 有一位出於雅各的、必掌大權、他要除滅城中的餘民。 | Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city. |
| | 24:20 | 巴蘭觀看亞瑪力、就題起詩歌說、亞瑪力原為諸國之首、但他終必沉淪。 | And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever. |
| | 24:21 | 巴蘭觀看基尼人、就題起詩歌說、你的住處本是堅固、你的窩巢作在巖穴中、 | And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock. |
| | 24:22 | 然而基尼必至衰微、直到亞述把你擄去。 | Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive. |
| | 24:23 | 巴蘭又題起詩歌說、哀哉、 神行這事、誰能得活。 | And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this! |
| | 24:24 | 必有人乘船從基提界而來、苦害亞述、苦害希伯．他也必至沉淪。 | And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever. |
| | 24:25 | 於是巴蘭起來回他本地去、巴勒也回去了。 | And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way. |
