| | 5:1 | 耶和華曉諭摩西說、 | And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |
| | 5:2 | 你吩咐以色列人、使一切長大痲瘋的、患漏症的、並因死屍不潔淨的、都出營外去。 | Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead: |
| | 5:3 | 無論男女、都要使他們出到營外、免得污穢他們的營、這營是我所住的。 | Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell. |
| | 5:4 | 以色列人就這樣行、使他們出到營外．耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西、以色列人就怎樣行了。 | And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel. |
| | 5:5 | 耶和華對摩西說、 | And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |
| | 5:6 | 你曉諭以色列人說、無論男女、若犯了人所常犯的罪、以至干犯耶和華、那人就有了罪。 | Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty; |
| | 5:7 | 他要承認所犯的罪、將所虧負人的、如數賠還．另外加上五分之一、也歸與所虧負的人。 | Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed. |
| | 5:8 | 那人若沒有親屬可受所賠還的、那所賠還的就要歸與服事耶和華的祭司．至於那為他贖罪的公羊是在外。 | But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him. |
| | 5:9 | 以色列人一切的聖物中、所奉給祭司的舉祭、都要歸與祭司。 | And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his. |
| | 5:10 | 各人所分別為聖的物、無論是甚麼。都要歸給祭司。 | And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his. |
| | 5:11 | 耶和華對摩西說、 | And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |
| | 5:12 | 你曉諭以色列人說、人的妻若有邪行得罪他丈夫、 | Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, |
| | 5:13 | 有人與他行淫、事情嚴密瞞過他丈夫、而且他被玷污沒有作見證的人、當他行淫的時候也沒有被捉住． | And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; |
| | 5:14 | 他丈夫生了疑恨的心、疑恨他、他是被玷污、或是他丈夫生了疑恨的心、疑恨他、他並沒有被玷污． | And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled: |
| | 5:15 | 這人就要將妻送到祭司那裏、又為他帶着大麥麵伊法十分之一作供物、不可澆上油、也不可加上乳香、因為這是疑恨的素祭、是思念的素祭、使人思念罪孽。 | Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. |
| | 5:16 | 祭司要使那婦人近前來、站在耶和華面前。 | And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD: |
| | 5:17 | 祭司要把聖水盛在瓦器裏、又從帳幕的地上取點塵土放在水中。 | And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water: |
| | 5:18 | 祭司要叫那婦人蓬頭散髮、站在耶和華面前、把思念的素祭、就是疑恨的素祭、放在他手中．祭司手裏拿着致咒詛的苦水． | And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse: |
| | 5:19 | 要叫婦人起誓、對他說、若沒有人與你行淫、也未曾背着丈夫作污穢的事、你就免受這致咒詛苦水的災。 | And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse: |
| | 5:20 | 你若背着丈夫、行了污穢的事、在你丈夫以外有人與你行淫、 | But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband: |
| | 5:21 | （祭司叫婦人發咒起誓）願耶和華叫你大腿消瘦、肚腹發脹、使你在你民中被人咒詛、成了誓語。 | Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell; |
| | 5:22 | 並且這致咒詛的水入你的腸中、要叫你的肚腹發脹、大腿消瘦．婦人要回答說、阿們、阿們。 | And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen. |
| | 5:23 | 祭司要寫這咒詛的話、將所寫的字抹在苦水裏、 | And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water: |
| | 5:24 | 又叫婦人喝這致咒詛的苦水．這水要進入他裏面變苦了。 | And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter. |
| | 5:25 | 祭司要從婦人的手中取那疑恨的素祭、在耶和華面前搖一搖、拿到壇前。 | Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar: |
| | 5:26 | 又要從素祭中取出一把、作為這事的紀念、燒在壇上、然後叫婦人喝這水。 | And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water. |
| | 5:27 | 叫他喝了以後、他若被玷污得罪了丈夫、這致咒詛的水必進入他裏面變苦了、他的肚腹就要發脹、大腿就要消瘦、那婦人便要在他民中被人咒詛。 | And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. |
| | 5:28 | 若婦人沒有被玷污、卻是清潔的、就要免受這災、且要懷孕。 | And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. |
| | 5:29 | 妻子背着丈夫行了污穢的事、 | This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled; |
| | 5:30 | 或是人生了疑恨的心、疑恨他的妻、就有這疑恨的條例。那時他要叫婦人站在耶和華面前、祭司要在他身上照這條例而行、 | Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law. |
| | 5:31 | 男人就為無罪、婦人必擔當自己的罪孽。 | Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity. |
