| | 8:3 | 主耶和華說、那日殿中的詩歌變為哀號．必有許多屍首在各處拋棄、無人作聲。 | And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence. |
| | 8:4 | 你們這些要吞喫窮乏人、使困苦人衰敗的、當聽我的話． | Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, |
| | 8:5 | 你們說、月朔幾時過去、我們好賣糧．安息日幾時過去、我們好擺開麥子、賣出用小升斗、收銀用大戥子、用詭詐的天平欺哄人． | Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? |
| | 8:6 | 好用銀子買貧寒人、用一雙鞋換窮乏人、將壞了的麥子賣給人。 | That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? |
| | 8:7 | 耶和華指着雅各的榮耀起誓、說、他們的一切行為、我必永遠不忘。 | The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. |
| | 8:8 | 地豈不因這事震動、其上的居民不也悲哀麼。地必全然像尼羅河漲起、如同埃及河湧上落下。 | Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. |
| | 8:9 | 主耶和華說、到那日、我必使日頭在午間落下、使地在白晝黑暗。 | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: |
| | 8:10 | 我必使你們的節期變為悲哀、歌曲變為哀歌．眾人腰束麻布、頭上光禿．使這場悲哀如喪獨生子、至終如痛苦的日子一樣。 | And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. |
| | 8:11 | 主耶和華說、日子將到、我必命飢荒降在地上．人飢餓非因無餅、乾渴非因無水、乃因不聽耶和華的話。 | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: |
| | 8:12 | 他們必飄流、從這海到那海、從北邊到東邊、往來奔跑尋求耶和華的話、卻尋不着。 | And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. |
| | 8:13 | 當那日、美貌的處女、和少年的男子必因乾渴發昏。 | In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. |
| | 8:14 | 那指着撒瑪利亞牛犢〔原文作罪〕起誓的說、但哪、我們指着你那裏的活神起誓．又說、我們指着別是巴的神道〔神原文作活〕起誓．這些人都必仆倒、永不再起來。 | They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again. |
