| | 24:1 | 第九年十月初十日、耶和華的話又臨到我說、 | Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, |
| | 24:2 | 人子阿、今日正是巴比倫王就近耶路撒冷的日子．你要將這日記下。 | Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day. |
| | 24:3 | 要向這悖逆之家設比喻、說、主耶和華如此說、將鍋放在火上、放好了、就倒水在其中． | And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it: |
| | 24:4 | 將肉塊、就是一切肥美的肉塊、腿和肩都聚在其中．拿美好的骨頭把鍋裝滿。 | Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones. |
| | 24:5 | 取羊群中最好的、將柴堆在鍋下、使鍋開滾、好把骨頭煮在其中。 | Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein. |
| | 24:6 | 主耶和華如此說、禍哉、這流人血的城、就是長鏽的鍋．其中的鏽未曾除掉．須要將肉塊從其中一一取出來．不必為他拈鬮。 | Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it. |
| | 24:7 | 城中所流的血、倒在淨光的磐石上、不倒在地上、用土掩蓋。 | For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust; |
| | 24:8 | 這城中所流的血倒在淨光的磐石上、不得掩蓋、乃是出於我、為要發忿怒施行報應。 | That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered. |
| | 24:9 | 所以主耶和華如此說、禍哉、這流人血的城．我也必大堆火柴。 | Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great. |
| | 24:10 | 添上木柴、使火着旺、將肉煮爛、把湯熬濃、使骨頭烤焦。 | Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned. |
| | 24:11 | 把鍋倒空坐在炭火上、使鍋燒熱、使銅燒紅、鎔化其中的污穢、除淨其上的鏽。 | Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed. |
| | 24:12 | 這鍋勞碌疲乏．所長的大鏽仍未除掉．這鏽就是用火也不能除掉。 | She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire. |
| | 24:13 | 在你污穢中有淫行．我潔淨你、你卻不潔淨．你的污穢再不能潔淨、直等我向你發的忿怒止息。 | In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee. |
| | 24:14 | 我耶和華說過的、必定成就、必照話而行、必不返回、必不顧惜、也不後悔．人必照你的舉動行為審判你．這是主耶和華說的。 | I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD. |
| | 24:15 | 耶和華的話又臨到我說、 | Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, |
| | 24:16 | 人子阿、我要將你眼目所喜愛的忽然取去．你卻不可悲哀哭泣、也不可流淚。 | Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down. |
| | 24:17 | 只可歎息、不可出聲、不可辦理喪事．頭上仍勒裹頭巾、腳上仍穿鞋、不可蒙着嘴唇、也不可喫弔喪的食物。 | Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men. |
| | 24:18 | 於是我將這事早晨告訴百姓．晚上我的妻就死了．次日早晨我便遵命而行。 | So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded. |
| | 24:19 | 百姓問我說、你這樣行與我們有甚麼關係、你不告訴我們麼。 | And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so? |
| | 24:20 | 我回答他們、耶和華的話臨到我說、 | Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying, |
| | 24:21 | 你告訴以色列家、主耶和華如此說、我必使我的聖所、就是你們勢力所誇耀、眼裏所喜愛、心中所愛惜的被褻瀆、並且你們所遺留的兒女、必倒在刀下。 | Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword. |
| | 24:22 | 那時、你們必行我僕人所行的、不蒙着嘴唇、也不喫弔喪的食物。 | And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men. |
| | 24:23 | 你們仍要頭上勒裹頭巾、腳上穿鞋．不可悲哀哭泣．你們必因自己的罪孽相對歎息、漸漸消滅。 | And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another. |
| | 24:24 | 以西結必這樣為你們作預兆．凡他所行的、你們也必照樣行．那事來到、你們就知道我是主耶和華。 | Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD. |
| | 24:25 | 人子阿、我除掉他們所倚靠、所歡喜的榮耀、並眼中所喜愛、心裏所重看的兒女． | Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters, |
| | 24:26 | 那日逃脫的人豈不來到你這裏、使你耳聞這事麼。 | That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears? |
| | 24:27 | 你必向逃脫的人開口說話、不再啞口．你必這樣為他們作預兆、他們就知道我是耶和華。 | In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD. |
