我的神，榮耀歸於你

我的神，榮耀歸於你，今夜
為光中所有福分感謝你賞賜；
求保守我，啊，萬王之王，
你全能翅膀覆翼。

主啊，因你的愛子赦免我，
今天所犯下的一切過失，
在我睡前能夠有和平，
對神，世人，和自己。

教導我生活，使我不怕死
看墳墓不過是我的眠床；
教導我死亡，使我能在
可畏大日進榮耀裏。

啊，我的靈魂在你得安息，
進入甜美睡眠眼睛閉上，
安睡為了要再起來時
服事神更有力量。

如果我夜裏不能夠入睡，
賜給我靈魂屬天的思想，
不讓惡夢擾亂我安息，
或黑暗權勢侵害。

讚美真神萬福之源，
天下萬民都當頌揚，
天使天軍齊頌主名，
讚美聖父聖子聖靈。

　　肯恩（Thomas Ken, 1637-1711）英國教牧，聖詩作家。
　　肯恩正直敢言，曾為主教，並英王查理二世宮廷牧師，講道時，常當英王面前指責宮廷淫佚奢侈等罪惡。但查理許為諍友。後為主教，因不肯對英王威廉及瑪莉（William & Mary），得罪當權者，於1691年去職。獲釋放後，在貧困中安度二十年去世。
　　在任溫徹斯特學院院長（Winchester College）時，為鼓勵學生禱告寫了禱告手冊（Manual of Prayer），其中載有早晚的禱告詩，只有“讚美真神”每篇的結束，成為今天教會通行的“三一頌”。

Glory to Thee, my God, this night
For all the blessings of the light;
Keep me, O keep me, King of Kings,
Beneath Thy own almighty wings.

Forgive me, Lord, for Thy dear Son,
The ill that I this day has done,
That with the world, myself, and Thee
I, ere I sleep, at peace may be.

Teach me to live, that I may dread
The grave as little as my bed;
Teach me to die, that so I may
Rise glorious at the awful day.

O may my soul on Thee repose,
And with sweet sleep mine eyelids close,
Sleep that may me more vigorous make
To serve my God when I awake.

When in the night I sleepless lie,
My soul with heavenly thoughts supply;
Let no ill dreams disturb my rest,
No powers of darkness me molest.

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him, all creatures here below,
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
