| | 28:1 | 惡人雖無人追趕也逃跑、義人卻膽壯像獅子。 | The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. |
| | 28:2 | 邦國因有罪過、君王就多更換．因有聰明知識的人、國必長存。 | For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged. |
| | 28:3 | 窮人欺壓貧民、好像暴雨沖沒糧食。 | A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food. |
| | 28:4 | 違棄律法的、誇獎惡人．遵守律法的、卻與惡人相爭。 | They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. |
| | 28:5 | 壞人不明白公義．惟有尋求耶和華的無不明白。 | Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things. |
| | 28:6 | 行為純正的窮乏人、勝過行事乖僻的富足人。 | Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich. |
| | 28:7 | 謹守律法的是智慧之子．與貪食人作伴的、卻羞辱其父。 | Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father. |
| | 28:8 | 人以厚利加增財物、是給那憐憫窮人者積蓄的。 | He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor. |
| | 28:9 | 轉耳不聽律法的、他的祈禱也為可憎。 | He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. |
| | 28:10 | 誘惑正直人行惡道的、必掉在自己的坑裏．惟有完全人、必承受福分。 | Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession. |
| | 28:11 | 富足人自以為有智慧．但聰明的貧窮人、能將他查透。 | The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. |
| | 28:12 | 義人得志有大榮耀．惡人興起人就躲藏。 | When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden. |
| | 28:13 | 遮掩自己罪過的、必不亨通．承認離棄罪過的、必蒙憐恤。 | He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. |
| | 28:14 | 常存敬畏的、便為有福．心存剛硬的、必陷在禍患裏。 | Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. |
| | 28:15 | 暴虐的君王轄制貧民．好像吼叫的獅子、覓食的熊。 | As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people. |
| | 28:16 | 無知的君多行暴虐．以貪財為可恨的、必年長日久。 | The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. |
| | 28:17 | 背負流人血之罪的、必往坑裏奔跑、誰也不可攔阻他。 | A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him. |
| | 28:18 | 行動正直的、必蒙拯救．行事彎曲的、立時跌倒。 | Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. |
| | 28:19 | 耕種自己田地的、必得飽食．追隨虛浮的、足受窮乏。 | He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. |
| | 28:20 | 誠實人必多得福、想要急速發財的、不免受罰。 | A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. |
| | 28:21 | 看人的情面、乃為不好．人因一塊餅枉法、也為不好。 | To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress. |
| | 28:22 | 人有惡眼想要急速發財、卻不知窮乏必臨到他身。 | He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him. |
| | 28:23 | 責備人的、後來蒙人喜悅、多於那用舌頭諂媚人的。 | He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue. |
| | 28:24 | 偷竊父母的、說、這不是罪．此人就是與強盜同類。 | Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer. |
| | 28:25 | 心中貪婪的、挑起爭端．倚靠耶和華的、必得豐裕。 | He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat. |
| | 28:26 | 心中自是的、便是愚昧人．憑智慧行事的、必蒙拯救。 | He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. |
| | 28:27 | 賙濟貧窮的、不致缺乏．佯為不見的、必多受咒詛。 | He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. |
| | 28:28 | 惡人興起、人就躲藏．惡人敗亡、義人增多。 | When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase. |
