| 11:1 | 拿玛人琐法回答说、 | Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said, |
| 11:2 | 这许多的言语、岂不该回答么.多嘴多舌的人、岂可称为义么。 | Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified? |
| 11:3 | 你夸大的话、岂能使人不作声么.你戏笑的时候、岂没有人叫你害羞么。 | Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed? |
| 11:4 | 你说、我的道理纯全、我在你眼前洁净。 | For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes. |
| 11:5 | 惟愿 神说话、愿他开口攻击你。 | But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee; |
| 11:6 | 并将智慧的奥秘指示你.他有诸般的智识。所以当知道 神追讨你、比你罪孽该得的还少。 | And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth. |
| 11:7 | 你考察、就能测透 神么.你岂能尽情测透全能者么。 | Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? |
| 11:8 | 他的智慧高于天、你还能作什么.深于阴间、你还能知道什么。 | It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? |
| 11:9 | 其量、比地长、比海宽。 | The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea. |
| 11:10 | 他若经过、将人拘禁、招人受审、谁能阻挡他呢。 | If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him? |
| 11:11 | 他本知道虚妄的人.人的罪孽、他虽不留意、还是无所不见。 | For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it? |
| 11:12 | 空虚的人、却毫无知识、人生在世好像野驴的驹子。 | For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt. |
| 11:13 | 你若将心安正、又向主举手. | If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him; |
| 11:14 | 你手里若有罪孽、就当远远的除掉、也不容非义住在你帐棚之中。 | If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. |
| 11:15 | 那时、你必仰起脸来、毫无斑点.你也必坚固、无所惧怕。 | For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear: |
| 11:16 | 你必忘记你的苦楚、就是想起也如流过去的水一样。 | Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away: |
| 11:17 | 你在世的日子、要比正午更明.虽有黑暗、仍像早晨。 | And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. |
| 11:18 | 你因有指望、就必稳固.也必四围巡查、坦然安息。 | And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. |
| 11:19 | 你躺卧无人惊吓、且有许多人向你求恩。 | Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee. |
| 11:20 | 但恶人的眼目必要失明、他们无路可逃.他们的指望就是气绝。 | But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost. |
