| | 8:1 | 書亞人比勒達回答、說、 | Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, |
| | 8:2 | 這些話你要說到幾時．口中的言語如狂風要到幾時呢。 | How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind? |
| | 8:3 | 神豈能偏離公平．全能者豈能偏離公義。 | Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice? |
| | 8:4 | 或者你的兒女得罪了他、他使他們受報應。 | If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression; |
| | 8:5 | 你若殷勤的尋求 神、向全能者懇求． | If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty; |
| | 8:6 | 你若清潔正直．他必定為你起來、使你公義的居所興旺。 | If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous. |
| | 8:7 | 你起初雖然微小、終久必甚發達。 | Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. |
| | 8:8 | 請你考問前代、追念他們的列祖所查究的。 | For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: |
| | 8:9 | （我們不過從昨日纔有、一無所知．我們在世的日子好像影兒。） | (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:) |
| | 8:10 | 他們豈不指教你、告訴你、從心裏發出言語來呢。 | Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? |
| | 8:11 | 蒲草沒有泥、豈能發長．蘆荻沒有水豈能生發。 | Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water? |
| | 8:12 | 尚青的時候、還沒有割下、比百樣的草先枯槁。 | Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb. |
| | 8:13 | 凡忘記 神的人、景況也是這樣．不虔敬人的指望要滅沒． | So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish: |
| | 8:14 | 他所仰賴的必折斷、他所倚靠的是蜘蛛網。 | Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web. |
| | 8:15 | 他要倚靠房屋、房屋卻站立不住．他要抓住房屋、房屋卻不能存留。 | He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure. |
| | 8:16 | 他在日光之下發青、蔓子爬滿了園子。 | He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden. |
| | 8:17 | 他的根盤繞石堆、扎入石地。 | His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones. |
| | 8:18 | 他若從本地被拔出、那地就不認識他、說、我沒有見過你。 | If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee. |
| | 8:19 | 看哪、這就是他道中之樂．以後必另有人從地而生。 | Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow. |
| | 8:20 | 神必不丟棄完全人、也不扶助邪惡人。 | Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers: |
| | 8:21 | 他還要以喜笑充滿你的口、以歡呼充滿你的嘴。 | Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing. |
| | 8:22 | 恨惡你的要披戴慚愧．惡人的帳棚、必歸於無有。 | They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought. |
