| | 18:2 | 你寻索言语要到几时呢．你可以揣摩思想、然后我们就说话。 | How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak. |
| | 18:3 | 我们为何算为畜生、在你眼中看作污秽呢。 | Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight? |
| | 18:4 | 你这恼怒将自己撕裂的、难道大地为你见弃、盘石挪开原处么。 | He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place? |
| | 18:5 | 恶人的亮光、必要熄灭、他的火焰、必不照耀。 | Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. |
| | 18:6 | 他帐棚中的亮光、要变为黑暗．他以上的灯、也必熄灭。 | The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him. |
| | 18:7 | 他坚强的脚步、必见狭窄、自己的计谋、必将他绊倒。 | The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down. |
| | 18:8 | 因为他被自己的脚陷入网中、走在缠人的网罗上。 | For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. |
| | 18:9 | 圈套必抓住他的脚跟、机关必擒获他。 | The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him. |
| | 18:10 | 活扣为他藏在土内、羁绊为他藏在路上。 | The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way. |
| | 18:11 | 四面的惊吓要使他害怕、并且追赶他的脚跟。 | Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. |
| | 18:12 | 他的力量必因饥饿衰败、祸患要在他旁边等候。 | His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. |
| | 18:13 | 他本身的肢体要被吞吃、死亡的长子要吞吃他的肢体。 | It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. |
| | 18:14 | 他要从所倚靠的帐棚被拔出来、带到惊吓的王那里。 | His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. |
| | 18:15 | 不属他的必住在他的帐棚里．硫磺必撒在他所住之处。 | It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. |
| | 18:16 | 下边、他的根本要枯干．上边、他的枝子要剪除。 | His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. |
| | 18:17 | 他的记念、在地上必然灭亡、他的名字、在街上也不存留。 | His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. |
| | 18:18 | 他必从光明中被撵到黑暗里、必被赶出世界。 | He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. |
| | 18:19 | 在本民中必无子无孙、在寄居之地、也无一人存留。 | He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. |
| | 18:20 | 以后来的、要惊奇他的日子、好像以前去的、受了惊骇。 | They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted. |
| | 18:21 | 不义之人的住处、总是这样、此乃不认识 神之人的地步。 | Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God. |
