| | 39:3 | 他们屈身、将子生下、就除掉疼痛。 | They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows. |
| | 39:4 | 这子渐渐肥壮、在荒野长大、去而不回。 | Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them. |
| | 39:5 | 谁放野驴出去自由．谁解开快驴的绳索。 | Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass? |
| | 39:6 | 我使旷野作他的住处、使咸地当他的居所。 | Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings. |
| | 39:7 | 他嗤笑城内的喧嚷、不听赶牲口的喝声。 | He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver. |
| | 39:8 | 遍山是他的草场．他寻找各样青绿之物。 | The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing. |
| | 39:9 | 野牛岂肯服事你．岂肯住在你的槽旁。 | Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? |
| | 39:10 | 你岂能用套绳将野牛笼在犁沟之间．他岂肯随你耙山谷之地。 | Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? |
| | 39:11 | 岂可因他的力大、就倚靠他、岂可把你的工交给他作么。 | Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? |
| | 39:12 | 岂可信靠他把你的粮食运到家、又收聚你禾场上的谷么。 | Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn? |
| | 39:13 | 鸵鸟的翅膀欢然搧展、岂是显慈爱的翎毛和羽毛么。 | Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? |
| | 39:14 | 因他把蛋留在地上、在尘土中、使得温暖． | Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, |
| | 39:15 | 却想不到被脚踹碎、或被野兽践踏。 | And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. |
| | 39:16 | 他忍心待雏、似乎不是自己的．虽然徒受劳苦、也不为雏惧怕． | She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; |
| | 39:17 | 因为 神使他没有智慧、也未将悟性赐给他。 | Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding. |
| | 39:18 | 他几时挺身展开翅膀、就嗤笑马和骑马的人。 | What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. |
| | 39:19 | 马的大力是你所赐的么．他颈项上挓莎的 | Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder? |
| | 39:20 | 是你叫他跳跃像蝗虫么．他喷气之威使人惊惶。 | Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. |
| | 39:21 | 他在谷中刨地、自喜其力．他出去迎接佩带兵器的人。 | He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men. |
| | 39:22 | 他嗤笑可怕的事、并不惊惶、也不因刀剑退回。 | He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. |
| | 39:23 | 箭袋和发亮的枪、并短枪、在他身上铮铮有声。 | The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield. |
| | 39:24 | 他发猛烈的怒气将地吞下．一听角声就不耐站立。 | He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet. |
| | 39:25 | 角每发声、他说、呵哈．他从远处闻着战气、又听见军长大发雷声、和兵丁吶喊。 | He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting. |
| | 39:26 | 鹰雀飞翔、展开翅膀、一直向南、岂是藉你的智慧么。 | Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south? |
| | 39:27 | 大鹰上腾、在高处搭窝、岂是听你的吩咐么。 | Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? |
| | 39:28 | 他住在山岩、以山峰和坚固之所为家． | She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. |
| | 39:29 | 从那里窥看食物、眼睛远远观望。 | From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. |
| | 39:30 | 他的雏也咂血．被杀的人在那里、他也在那里。 | Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she. |
